Rusty Gold swap meet winter edition - #2

Rusty Gold swap meet winter edition #1

The Rusty Gold swap meet winter edition was great!
Some shots from yesterday at the BEAM clubhouse in Amsterdam. It was a blast. Thank you BEAM for being a wonderful host and thanks everyone for showing up. My buddy Zoran did a killer job in promoting the event and the result was that in just a few days the place was fully booked :) On the 1st of May we will have our 5th spring edition of the Rusty Gold Swap Meet at the Cruise-inn in Amsterdam so write that down! We couldn't have done it without the help from Cindy and Manon. We <3 p="" you.="">

Indian - Global Custom Scout Dealer Contest - Rollfast

Indian Motorcycle dealers around the world are showcasing their passion for the brand and their team's talent by competing in Project Scout. This custom dealer contest has no rules or restrictions on bike theme, cost or build style. The only parameters required are utilizing a 2016 Indian Scout model and a minimum of three Indian Scout accessories.

This one gets my vote. I'm not a big fan of the new Scout frame but in this build they managed to make it work, for some reason it looks super good in chrome. :) Great proportions on this custom and good color combo. The Scout you see here is a collaboration with Bill Dodge of Bling's Cycles and Jason Foster of Mission City Indian Motorcycle. The inspiration for this custom was Rollfast, a vintage bicycle company. The unique futuristic styling of the old bicycle company brings the perfect flare of larger wheels, tank panels, and cool handle bars. Our inspiration from Rollfast was to bring something different to the table, more fun, and that's what we're doing with this Indian Scout project. We're going to take something that most people take for granted, not the normal, by bringing it to life a little more. As Bill also spoke to a few Indian Scout owners, they said the only issue on the bike was that it didn't have enough slow speed turning radius. That's one major change Bill did by changing the trees and the front wheel, giving it a little more slow speed turning radius. Bill is also fabricating a seat and fender combo that follows the lines perfectly. When finished, our Project Scout will stand out in a crowd and out run the pack, as did our inspiration.

Project Scout fan voting is open January 18th - February 19th, 2016 and the top three finalists will receive an all-expenses-paid weekend trip to the 75th annual Daytona Bike Week for themselves plus a guest.
